590+ supported platforms
Everything Event Watcher recognizes out of the box, grouped into 14 categories, with in-depth debugging pages for 82 of the most-used platforms.
Platform list as of Event Watcher v1.4.2. Also available as a machine-readable list.
- Data Layers8 platforms
Data layers are the structured JavaScript objects (window.dataLayer and its equivalents) where a site publishes events for tag managers and analytics tools to consume. Event Watcher intercepts every push in real time, shows the full payload, and identifies which script wrote it: the site itself, a tag manager, or a third-party script.
- Tag Managers13 platforms
Tag managers load and orchestrate the other tracking scripts on a page. Event Watcher detects container loads, shows what each container triggers, and for Google Tag Manager lets you block or swap containers on the fly, without publishing anything.
- First-Party Collection4 platforms
First-party collection endpoints route tracking data through the site's own domain (server-side GTM and similar proxies), which makes them easy to miss in a normal network inspection. Event Watcher recognizes the request shapes even when they don't hit a third-party domain.
- Analytics108 platforms
Web and product analytics platforms record pageviews, events, and user journeys. Event Watcher decodes their network requests into readable event names, parameters, and user properties, and cross-references every hit against the visitor's consent state.
- Customer Data Platforms33 platforms
Customer Data Platforms collect behavioral events once and fan them out to downstream destinations. Event Watcher shows the collection calls as they leave the page, so you can verify exactly what data is captured and when.
- A/B Testing21 platforms
Experimentation and personalization tools assign visitors to variants and report exposure events. Event Watcher surfaces their requests so you can confirm experiments activate, and check what they send before consent.
- Advertising61 platforms
Ad platform pixels and conversion tags (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and the other ad networks) report pageviews, custom events, and purchases back to their platforms. Event Watcher decodes each pixel hit and flags the ones that fire without marketing consent.
- Marketing Automation55 platforms
Email, CRM, and lifecycle marketing tools track site visits to build contact timelines and trigger campaigns. Event Watcher shows their tracking beacons and form-capture calls in real time.
- Ad Tech121 platforms
Programmatic advertising infrastructure: supply- and demand-side platforms, identity vendors, header bidding, and ad servers. Individually obscure, collectively the largest share of tracking requests on ad-funded sites. Event Watcher names each one instead of leaving a wall of cryptic domains.
- Session Replay21 platforms
Session recording and heatmap tools capture how visitors actually use a page. Event Watcher shows when a recording starts and what the beacons transmit, useful for both debugging and privacy review.
- Video15 platforms
Video players ship their own built-in analytics beacons for plays, progress, and engagement. Event Watcher identifies the player and decodes its tracking calls.
- Consent Management45 platforms
Consent management platforms collect the visitor's privacy choices that every other tool is supposed to respect. Event Watcher reads the CMP's signals and uses them as ground truth to flag tracking that fires before or against consent.
- Widgets66 platforms
Chat, support, review, and embed widgets add functionality, and almost all of them phone home. Event Watcher shows what each widget loads and transmits.
- Monitoring28 platforms
Error and performance monitoring SDKs report crashes, traces, and web vitals. Event Watcher identifies their beacons so you can separate observability traffic from marketing trackers.
